This five bedroom villa was custom-built in 1991 to provide spectacular panoramic views of the Golfe d’ Ajaccio and the mountains of Corsica. The stunning and unobstructed view from the terraces and garden show the local beach and rocky headlands of the coast, and beyond the beautiful blue Golfe d’ Ajaccio to the majestic mountains that dominate the landscape of Corsica in the background.
U Castellu, our Corsican villa, is suitable for active family vacations, reunions with friends, and romantic getaways.
This comfortably furnished villa's terrace level with recently installed ceiling fans throughout, features the cathedral-ceiling living area with half bath, master bedroom suite and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace has both covered and uncovered areas as well as a built-in barbecue grill and second refrigerator for beverages.
The garden level has four bedrooms with ceiling fans that open onto the large private pool, two full bathrooms and a laundry room. There is also an exterior hot shower near the pool. The gardens bloom with flowering bushes and features eucalypti, palm and mimosa trees.
It is an easy five minute walk to the beach of Portigliolo (Plage de Portigliolo) at the Southern tip of the Golfe d’ Ajaccio where one may dine out, play tennis and or enjoy swimming or boating activities. It is just 10 miles/16km to the main resort town of Porticcio and 25 miles/40km to Ajaccio’s airport.
